Bahrain waives $169m customs fees in 2011
Customs fees worth BD64 million ($169.75 million) were waived for Bahraini-run factories last year, the Interior Ministry said. It was part of GCC directives to exempt all industrial facilities from customs fees, including machinery, equipment, packaging and other industrial products, a statement from the ministry added.
